Additionally, posts should not redirect the user to another site without providing substantial educational content within the body of the post.
We want to ensure that our blog posts provide value to our audience and are not simply advertisements.
We have some rules about what we publish on our platform. We don’t mind a little bit of promotional content, as long as it’s related to the post and doesn’t take up more than 50 words or 10% of the whole post.
We’re okay with you mentioning your company, products, services, or how you work, and you can add links to other websites for more information. But, we won’t publish posts that seem like they’re just trying to get people to click or buy something, like “How to pick a solution or service provider” if you’re the one providing the services.
Our goal is to give readers content that’s worth their time and helps them learn something new. We want to be transparent and provide useful information without any hidden motives.
At YourCustomerVision, we don’t allow any kind of paid backlinks on our platform, no matter the reason. If we find out that an author is trying to sell backlinks on YourCustomerVision.com, we will terminate their account, and all of their content will be removed from our community.
We take this rule seriously to ensure the integrity of the information on our platform. We believe in providing our readers with trustworthy content and want to keep our platform free of any unethical practices.
When submitting a blog post to YourCustomerVision, please note that all posts are subject to moderation. Our community moderator or manager will review each post for compliance with our publishing standards before it is published.
Here is what you can expect during our moderation process:
- We will remove any Extraneous header/footer information, such as share links, author bio, related content, or any other standard content automatically inserted by the author’s blogging system. This is to ensure that the focus is solely on the content of the post.
- If there are any un-credited images, advertising, or header/footer information, we will remove them. Images that have not been given explicit credit in the blog post will be removed to protect the author and YourCustomerVision from potential copyright infringement claims.
- We will also remove any advertising, including graphic images, lead generation widgets, blocks of text, etc. that promote products, services or content. However, a call-to-action in text format is allowed, provided it is a natural part of the post content and helps the reader to explore the post topic more deeply.
- To comply with Google guidelines, we may add a “nofollow” status to links when needed. Direct links to companies, products or services are nofollowed because Google may flag as “unnatural” links intended to influence the search engine. However, links to educational content such as blog posts and articles are generally okay, as long as they help the reader dig deeper into a topic.
Finally, once the post has gone through our moderation process, it will be categorized and published on a first-in, first-out basis. We strive to ensure that all posts on YourCustomerVision meet our publishing standards and are of high quality.
Blog Guidelines and Approval Process

- Do not compare the author’s products or services to competitors.
- Do not manipulate search engines through practices like keyword stuffing, excessive or inappropriate backlinks, etc.
- Each post must be published under an individual author with a valid profile, not under a pseudonym, group, or anonymous account.
- All guest posts must belong to the registered author’s account and not be submitted separately.
After being reviewed and approved by the moderator, posts are then considered for publication by the Managing Editor. The selection process focuses on posts that provide value to our community and have the potential to start a discussion. However, posts that are too short (less than 500 words), only contain graphics without value-adding commentary, or curate lists of resources may not be selected for publication. Additionally, posts that simply rehash or repeat basic issues that have already been extensively covered by our community may also be cut during this step.
